MARY CAIN MESSAGED ME ON FACEBOOK
I’m emerging briefly from the dark, evil, never-ending abyss that is also known as final exams to explain why today, despite exams, is the best day of my life.
Some crazy, insane impulse motivated me to friend Mary Cain on Facebook (We have mutual friends because of track). She accepted, which was awesome! Then, a crazier, even more insane impulse made me decide to message her, saying that I was a huge fan and asking if she had any tips for success in track. I wasn’t expecting a reply…
SHE REPLIED TO ME. MARY CAIN, AKA GOD, REPLIED TO MY MESSAGE! I SPOKE (TYPED?) TO MARY CAIN.
Her reply was so sweet, too; it makes me hope to get a chance to meet her some day. I guess that’s just another reason to go to the Armory…

Hopefully Mary Cain won’t find this, because I don’t want to seem creepy…but MARY CAIN I LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE AMAZING AND MY HERO!
